Well, we've gone round and round the bend. We could argue semantics
of the Bible and philosophy all day. But when it comes down to science
- to evidence and proof for God - we don't have any.
Not having knowledge of something doesn't make it any less true.
Evolution is a fact. And while some people may claim that God
set evolution into practice, it is more rational to believe that evolution
is the result of the basic premise of things changing from simple to
complex.
I have to judge the existence of God by natural laws, by what I experience,
by what I know to be true. By what I can observe. If there were a god,
it would only make sense to me that he would have evolved himself. Of
course, there is a Christian philosophy that says the Christian God
has changed and is changing.
I say, the Christian God is changing because the human race is changing,
and we are the ones who invent the Gods.
The fact that there are over 60,000 CHRISTIAN denominations and so many
more Gods that have and are being worshiped, and even many more
ways of interpreting the Bible, I can't imagine only ONE of them being
correct. Since there is so much to choose from, I must choose that they
are all bullshit and come to the default belief of 0 none of them
are true, God does not exist.
