i read your blog about how youve become an atheist, and that part about your sibling dying is sad but the thing is you cannot blame God for what happened that day. That's where everyone tends to go to first when something bad happens "where was God at when i needed Him most?", but mainly it's the other way around where were you when God needed you? The point of the matter is that your brother lived a good life, when its time to go, its your time to go right? and well he IS in fact in a better place wether you believe it or not. God has him. another statement you had made was that you were "brain washed" okay, a christian is not a religion and second of all its a relationship with Christ Jesus, you got things wrong, when you become a Christian the first thing you do is to WANT to believe there IS a God, Jesus. No one can brain wash you unless you want to, you shouldnt do anything against your will, that's what God gave us all, to have or own will to choose Him or not too. It seems to me like, after all of these trials happened in your life like the amy grant song, your brother and all these other events you were looking for someone to be there for you and no one was there, you thought since God is loving and merciful your life would be happy joyous and wonderful as it should be, but the fact was it wasnt! you were laughed at and all of the above by those who didnt treat you right and were Christians to top that off but you know what a true Christian is a person of God, walks and talks in His image because thats where we came from. im sorry that these people made fun of you but that doesnt mean that the Lord didnt deal with them, or that you should have turned your back on God because something went wrong. Now your an atheist, who probably feels like everoyne is there for you, and doesnt treat you like you were doing something bad or made you feel unwelcomed, but if you were a christian walking into a room of atheists how would you feel. i mean it goes both ways but the truth is there is only one way, and my friend i love you and i feel for you, about what happened to you, but i know you know the truth and the Truth is ABOVE, just because you dont see it doesnt mean it doesnt exist. did you know darwin before he died he turned his life to Christ because he knew evolution wasnt right. it can never be proven, and if it were, what is that exactly to you? something new? well sorry to break it to you all but there is nothing new under the sun like it says in eccleassties<< i probably didnt spell that right but thats what is says.... and when you have a question to ask who do you turn to? a man or a women to answer your question? ask anyone around you, do angels really exist, and they will come up with something totally different than what the last person said.... The Bible is the only way, the only Truth, if you have any questions its all there..... the one of the main reasons why people dont turn to the Bible is because His light is so strong that if they open the Bible find out what they really are about like a mirror right in front of them (truth) then they wouldnt want to read it or touch it! Hello. Thanks for the email! I appreciate you doing what you feel is right.
First and foremost I am an atheist because there is no evidence for God. The occurences of my childhood are just things that help lead me to that conclusion.
"where was God at when i needed Him most?" He wasn't anywhere because he doesn't exist.
"where were you when God needed you?" WHY would a GOD NEED anybody? What exactly is it that God wants with me? I was there worshipping him, praying to him, singing, witnessing for him all that jazz.
"your brother lived a good life" Excuse me, but you consider living as a vegetable blind, paralyzed from the waist down, broken legs, in a coma for 6 months after the accident, with a trachea and a colostomy bag for FOUR years as a child - living a GOOD life??? I don't fucking think so.
"he IS in fact in a better place wether you believe it or not" I would like to believe this. In fact, that is why a lot of people believe in religion. They want to know that their life continues after this one. But there is absolutely NO EVIDENCE WHATSOEVER that we continue to exist after this life.
"relationship with Christ Jesus" First of all, I had a "relationship" with Jesus Christ, if you consider talking to myself and imagining a god on the other side a "relationship." Second of all, there is a lot more religious flavors out there than the one you call Christian. What about those other poor souls??? I guess if they're praying to Allah then they're screwed, huh?

The God who mercilessly murders the entire population of the earth except for Noah and his family? A God who turns a woman into a pillar of salt - just for LOOKING BACK? A God who kills babies? ATHEISTS are persecuted NOT CHRISTIANS. TO think that Christians are persecuted is part of the brain washing. I was there once, I know. That is part of your "fitting in" and "Christian inside group" meme. You are taught that Christians are persecuted to make you feel superior and righteous and solidified as a group.
